👉 Orcus Town is a ruined, demonic reflection of a settlement, ruled by the demon lord Orcus.
Location: Located between levels 5 and 16 of Gehennom.
Orcus Town is the only recognizable "town" in the underworld.
Characteristics
- Layout: The level features ruined buildings and abandoned shops, similar to Mine Town, but twisted and corrupted.
- Inhabitants: Instead of peaceful watchmen and shopkeepers, the town is filled with undead, demons, and the powerful demon lord Orcus.
- Shops: The abandoned shops often contain piles of uncursed (but abandoned) loot.
Orcus
Orcus is one of the most dangerous demon lords because he spawns with a Wand of death.
- He will not hesitate to use the wand on the player.
- He can also summon throngs of undead and cast powerful spells.
